Q: the Hartzell application guide says 96C62 for a Cessna 310J and elsewhere I see recommendations for a 96C62-1 heater. What's the difference?

The -1 would represent that this would be the more updated model.

Q: Is the price listed for the heats with or with out a old core? is there any core/old heater value?

The price in the Price column is without the core charge. When you add the heater to your cart, it will add the heater part # plus the core charge. The core charge is refunded once we receive a valid core return.
