Works fine, dial and indicator needles look nice. The working 20 yr. old Westach single fuel gauge I replaced looked better made. I paid double for a US made gauge, I was hoping for a little better quality.

Q: What is the ohm range for the Westach 2DA4V instrument? I plan to use it with 0-30 ohms float sender, will it work?

No, this is a capacitive fuel sender and works on 0-5 volts not ohms so will not work. You will need a resistive fuel sender.

Q: Is this Westach 2-1/4 Dual Fuel Level Gauge FAA approved?

No, Westberg instruments are no longer FAA Approved.

Q: Is fuel gauge 2DA4V qualified to any standards, e.g. DO-160, TSO etc?

No, this is not FAA Approved.

Per the manufacturer: "The gauge does not draw power from the electrical system The senders draw max of .03 amp each"
