This foam is easily contoured using a large knife, and then sands well to final form. Excellent for producing the fuselage, wing tips, and other curved parts. It is fuel resistant and can be used for fuel cells. Compatible with most adhesives. Colors Available in Tan color only.

Urethane Foam 1/2 X 24 X 48
Great for making mold patterns. Easy to work with but also easy to break. Will order again
Shipped quick arrived with a little no damage. Aircraft spruce took care of everything by getting me the foam quick and undamaged.
Great product. Easy to shape and work with. Made my glass project a snap.
Great for student project composite airfoils.
This foam is what it is. Polyurethane foam. Easy to work with. Easy to carve or sand. Very easy to damage if not handled correctly. I was pleased to see how well Aircraft Spruce packed the foam. The foam arrived with little to no damage from shipping. I cant rate the foam but I give 5 stars to Aircraft Spruce for there effort to get the foam to me quickly and undamaged.
4 stars because it was packed/shipped well and Aircraft Spruce was great, but can’t really recommend the foam. Extremely brittle and so powdery you can groove it just by dragging a finger over it. I’m used to 2lb surfboard-specific PU, which is somehow MUCH stronger and more durable. This stuff would be fine for model making, but just too fragile for real core material in my opinion.
Very poor quality. Almost every surface had damage
