400° F RESISTANT SEALANT TAPE - #4401 is a grey vacuum bag sealant tape that removes cleanly from the tool surface at the completion of the cure cycle. It can be used at any temperature up to 400° F. It can be used on any tool surface now in use and has been a standard of the industry for many years. It has high initial tack and is very easy to apply to prevent leaks between the bag and tool. Incredibly sticky
This tape is easy to use and gives an excellent seal when vacuum bagging composites.
This stuff works awesome...I use it with prepreg that I cure at 275 for an hour under vac and it performs perfectly!

The manufacturer calls the base material as a synthetic rubber. Butyl is a synthetic rubber product.
This is not recommended at temperatures that low. This may crack and not seal correctly. Per Vendor: we have no data on the minimum temperature neither does the manufacturer.
