Good product, however if you have V Brace installed youll need to get them directly from Plane Plastics without the caps glued on. These ones come with the caps glued on and arent able to be installed unless you remove the V brace.
Cessna Ventube
Should have done this years ago. Seals well. Easy install.
Cessna Ventube
Great product
Cessna Ventube
Perfect fit and and simple installation in our 49 C-170.
Cessna Ventube
Installation was very easy. They seal up great in the cold air and provide higher velocity airflow in the summer. STC paperwork included.
Easy installation and stay locked in flight Nice
Installed into my Cessna 150. They work great. Drilled a hole into the plastic for the outside air temperature thermometer on the passenger side and it easily fit. Took about an hour or so to install under the direction of an A&P who signed off on the alteration.
Easy install, works as advertised would definitely recommended or buy again
These look to be PERFECT replacements for the drafty old Cessna vent tubes. Looking forward to a war cabin!
Just installed this kit on my Cessna 150. Hardest part was access to where the holes needed to be drilled through the existing housing and into the inner sleeve. Then getting the small screw into the hole. Took about an hour total. Removed the thermometer from the old vent and installed in the new vent with no issues. Test flown and it works well. Moves air when open and nothing gets through when it is closed. The post in the back keeps it closed. No more drifting open.

Per the supplier: The average install time is about an hour to an hour and a half. Of course, this is a general estimate and each installation time can vary.
Approximately 1-7/8".
No, these do not come in other colors. Yes these can be painted. Since they are plastic we would suggest the SEM plastic paint.
We have added the instructions for the Cessna Ventube to the web page for download and review.
The 150K is on the STC, so you shouldn't need a 337, but we always recommend confirming with an A&P before any install to ensure the correct procedure for approval is followed.
