Use this spinner with DM series Sensenich propellers and GM series McCauley propellers. FAA/PMA approved. |
As others have said, this spinner is a direct replacement for a PA28-140. It fit perfectly with no having to tweak or muscle anything into place. There was no stamp on the inside stating it fits a PA28-140, but it does. Not only that, the part number (14422) is the same as shown in the Piper parts catalog. It came well packaged, and I am very happy with it. Recommend AS update their catalog to show it is applicable to the PA28-140.
The spinner mounted on my Piper PA 28 160 with the requisite manipulations. Ive not flown with it so no information on that. However, I hope it to last at least 10 years w/o cracking. That is what I got out of the old one I purchased from Piper some years ago. The spinner came on time and was packaged very well. There were a few scratches on it suggesting attempts at past use had occurred but nothing serious or damaging. Thank you, Spruce for your Great Service! now and these 25 years owning my Piper.
Spinner is perfect for PA28 series - Applicability is stamped on the inside and includes PA28.
Installed on Pa-28-140. Perfect replacement!!
Excellent Product. Was looking for a spinner for a PA-28 and determined this was compatible despite not be advertised as such. upon arrival i saw stamped on the part that it is approved for PA-28. something to know if your looking for a cherokee spinner.
