This is a well designed product that works as advertised. They operate quickly and smoothly. Adjustment for minor seat rail wear was easy. Atlee Dodge inner rear jump seat rails prevented installation from aft on the forward seat rails so I removed the front seats and installed the Aerostops from front of those rails before reinstalling the front seats. I got the 2-pack to prevent my front seat passenger from grabbing the yolk in the event of co-pilot seat pin disengagement.

excellent product. After moving original Cessna seat stop to aft end of its rail, I gained an additional 3.5 inch of aft seat travel to very much improve egress into the seat. I then slide up Aerostop as an 2nd seat stop. Excellent product support from Aerostop.

I recently purchased and installed the AeroStop in my Cessna 172D and it works great! It allows me to move the fixed Cessna seat stop to the aft end of the rail thereby allowing the seat to move an additional 3 1/2 inches further aft for much better egress to the seat. I adjusted the cam to position 5 to lock to my Cessna rail. The AeroStop prevents the seat from moving aft, yet does not contact the seat rollers thereby not damaging them, a good design feature. Excellent product!
I bought one of these at Oshkosh a few years ago. It is lightweight and easy to use. After a few flights, releasing it before sliding the seat back becomes second nature/muscle memory. Outstanding product to increase safety.
After losing two notches on takeoff. Decidedly time for a fix. This works great and easy to use

I own two of these--one for each front seat in my Cessna. I like them because theyre incredibly simple and foolproof, unlike the Rube Goldberg inertia reel device. After takeoff, I slip them to the rear of the rail. If anything, they are better for emergency extraction/egress than alternatives because they will slide right off the back of the rail, allowing the seat to come off the rails (only when you need it to). Maintenance is zero, and they can be moved to other airplanes in a pinch. Four stars only because its pretty darn expensive for what they are. But the manufacturer had to run the FAA regulatory gauntlet to get them back into production (for which Im grateful), so they shouldnt be blamed for recovering the cost of bureaucracy.
Well made and as advertised. My concern is that this device seems to create a impediment to aircraft egress. In an emergency situation 1: pilot may fail to remember to unlock the seat rail device and therefore be unable to exit the aircraft. Even if it is remembered, the device limits the AFR movement of the seat substantially, slowing or impeding egress. Divide solves one problem, but may create others. It’s still well made!
