These tires are worth it. They hold air for a lot longer than ordinary tires and I seem to get much more life out of them. In this case you get more for your money.

I got 300 landings in my Mooney out of my last set of these tires and never had a problem. Ill be happy if I can get another 300 out of these.

Being rather naive about aircraft maintenance, I always look for a new Schrader valve in the box. It would have been nice. In the catalog and website, a little note that says Inner tube not included see item xxxx. would have been helpful. There is no explanation about the red and aqua dots on the tire. I was told that they should align with the valve stem on the inner tube. It should be stated somewhere. Tire inflation pressure is stated in the POH of the aircraft its going on. A line about that would have been nice. The tire is fine! It is the 4th one Ive purchased and Im happy with it.

This is a very good budget tire. They are fairly light as compared to a Michelin Air or Goodyear tire which is great if used on a light airplane such as a 172. I am not a fan of these for heavy or fast planes such as Cirrus, Aztec, 210 or such.

Good value and quality tires. Wouldve been perfect if the rubber residue from the mold around the rim had been trimmed at the factory. Not a real problem to trim it off before mounting which my mechanic recommended doing.

Delivery was very good, but unfortunately it was the wrong tire. needed 15X6.00X6 but not very clear on the website and I ordered incorrectly. Already recd an RMA and correct tires on order.

Just installed Oct. 2018 with Leak guard tubes on the Mains as well the Nose, time will tell.

Tires seem good quality. I noticed after sitting five days they seem to develop a flat spot. At slow taxi it was noticeable, as the taxi continued a little faster, the unevenness went away. The tires were aired to aircraft specs @42lbs. I aired the mains to 45lbs. Maybe it will improve.

Tires are fine, however it would be nice if manufacturer would pay more attention to trimming flashing around bead area. I had to trim both tires to avoid flashing rubbing on tube.

These tires have proven to be economical yet durable.

This Air Hawk was a replacement for a tire that I ordered last week. The first tire would not balance, 5 to 6 oz out. Todays tire balanced at 2.75 oz. Extremely smooth take-off with new main tires. It was a pain to have to pay $39 to ship bad tire back to Corona. I have good luck with Air Hawks lasting over 10 years with no cracking on a tied down non covered tire. They tend to take more weight to balance out, typically 2 to 3 oz. Last weeks tire was first I had that was badly out of balance.

Item was backordered, and ETA was not met. Overall satisfied, but missing the ETA caused some problems with annual inspection timing.

Not giving up on these air hawk tires. My field mechanic does not have a balancer. The last tire had a 200 or so landings. Didnt make annual for the flat spot.

Installed a Air Hawk 6.00 x 6 six ply part # 06-07900 on the nose wheel of our Cessna R-172E. We immediately noticed a severe vibration on takeoff and landing. Upon examination the IA found the tire to be severely out of round. We replaced the tire with a Good Year part # 06-07300 that was perfect in round and required no balance. Freight cost to return the defective tire was $28.00 to Corona.
