Per Vendor: LPS Dry Film Silicone #01616 has been used successfully in the plastic molding industry. Given that history I feel it would act as a release agent in epoxy resin applications as well. However, I have not enough experience in this application to be 100% certain.
You would not want to use this with a silicone mold. For this application the vendor recommends LPS Dry Film PTFE lubricant instead.
