The piture of the long bracket in your catalog shows the same as the short bracket. Its confusing and as a result I got the wrong one.

Hall Wind Meter Prone Bracket

The Hall Wind Meter bracket works very well. I have the meter connected to my Light Sport Aircraft using the short bracket. The rubber part that holds the meter and connects to the solid bracket clamp does a good job of mitigating the in flight vibrations. My first meter and bracket lasted for 19 years. The original meter still works but the graduated tube has developed some cracks. The new meter and bracket look great.

This mount is rock solid. I was concerned that it might vibrate on my Legal Eagle wing strut but is doesn’t move. Love it.
