Note: for use with the Dynon Skyview system only. Dynon’s dual band ADS-B receiver receives weather & traffic on both 978 MHz and 1090 MHz frequencies. The dual band SV-ADSB-472 receives ADS-B traffic via 978 MHz (UAT) and 1090 MHz. In the US, it also receives free text and graphical weather from the FAA’s network of ADS-B ground stations. Unlike portable ADS-B receivers, you get FULL ADS-B and radar traffic when you pair this with our Mode-S transponder. The remote mounted receiver utilizes an externally mounted antenna for superior ADS-B reception. The ADS-B antenna must be installed at least two-feet from the transponder antenna. ADS-B Weather: Subscription-free weather displayed on SkyView, including NEXRAD radar, METARs and TAFS. Airport weather data can be displayed for nearest airports or for a specific airport identifier.
TFR Information: TFR NOTAMs are displayed graphically on the navigation map. Antenna Information: The SV-ADSB-472 requires its own antenna; it cannot share the transponder's antenna. A UAT-specific antenna or a transponder antenna may be used with the SV-ADSB-472. Please note any ADS-B unit will operate within the USA only when in clear line of sight of an ADS-B tower (flying at a higher altitudes may be required to gain proper signal). Dynon dual channel adsb rcvr arrived quickly and was easy to install. Now seeing much more traffic compared to the old UAT only rcvr.

I have not installed it yet but I have bought Dynon b3fore and have been pleased.
These are made (I guess) by Dynon. I wish the wires ends were marked as to where they go. Ito me the average builder it’s hard to figure out where they hook up to. I’m sure others can figure it out but would be so simple if Dynon would just use wires that had where they go, like spruce does.
Works as stated. Necessary if you fly experimental within B class airports with 30 mile Mode C radius veil.
New EMS module corrected RF EMI issue on Skyview Classic display.
Needed a backup battery for a Skyview display and very few companies stock them. You do, which saved a lot of shipping time coast to coast. Thanks again for the great service.

You have the option of RG 400 or RG 58 coax cable. RG 400 is a higher quality cable but either will work.
No, the Skyview system is not TSO'd and is intended for experimental aircraft.
