We only fly about 100 hrs. or so a year in the XLS+ and keeping the battery maintained is crucial since replacement batteries are extremely expensive. This charger is fantastic and the quality is superb. I highly recommend it!

Bought this unit to keep our battery charged up for the Phenom 300 I fly. Have had the charger for about two weeks now and it seems to be doing a great job keeping between 25.3v to 28.0v

No, this is not an auxiliary power unit. It is a charger only.
The manual does not mention this, but general practice is not to charge a battery while installed, due to possible damage to the aircraft if there happened to have any problems while charging. We have added the manual to the web page. Please review it to see if it will work for your application.
