Works perfect, with the clamp youre not worried about it slipping out as you are pulling or pushing your aircraft.
Aero-Tow Cirrus Towbar
Excellent tow bar. Easy to attach to the nose gear. Sturdy construction, does not flex like OEM tow bar. Fits nicely behind the rear seat of a 2006 Cirrus SR22-G2.

Aero-Tow Cirrus Towbar
Very sturdy and well built.
Aero-Tow Cirrus Towbar
Way better than factory tow bar. I prop mine up against the back seats with my flightbag and it stays out of the way.
The tow bar is very sturdy & stays attached to the nose wheel. It will fit in the baggage compartment. Worth the money. Dont buy those flimsy $80 tow bars for the Cirrus. Shipping took longer than expected.
This is the tow bar to have if you're pulling a cirrus around! It's strong heavy-duty construction makes manipulating the castering gear a lot easier. Pretty pricey, but worth every penny.
The tow bar is sturdily built, with large comfortable handles. It attaches very securely to the tow lugs on the front wheel. Two small complaints. First, the bar is too long to lie flat on the floor in the baggage compartment. Some kind of telescoping or folding arrangement would be very welcome. Second, you open and close the jaws of the bar using a little crank that basically turns a long threaded rod. It works, but it doesnt turn particularly smoothly and it will bind up if you open too far. All in all, its better than the very lightweight telescoping red tow bar that comes with the plane, but theres room for improvement.

At the fork end of the towbar, one arm does move to attach and remove the tow bar. It is attached with a pivot pin, but doesn't look like it can be detached very quickly, but can be removed.
