Q: Is this an approved part for a 1956 Cessna C172?

No, this part is not TSO's (certified) so you will have to check with your installer before purchasing.

Q: Does this fit a Rotax 912 ULS (with p/n 667355 airbox)?

Per our Rotax tech: Rotax carburetors do not have a port for attaching temperature senders. Carb ice is usually not a problem in Rotax engines, but if you are concered about ice I would suggest you install part number 15-05919. It keeps the carbs warm using the engine coolant.

Q: Is there a chart for the wiring of this Westach Carburetor Temp Gauge Kit?

Yes. We have added a wiring diagram to the Instructions tab for this part. Please review it there.

Q: Will this unit work on a standard C 172?

No, this unit is not FAA Approved. It cannot be used on certified aircraft.

Q: Is this an all inclusive kit?

The gauge and probe are included in this kit.
