Overview

Rand-O-Proof G-6302 is a non-tautening nitrate base product designed for use as a first coat on polyester fabric to be tautened with heat. It can also be used as the first brush coat on cotton. To assure adequate penetration, thin as needed with Nitrate Thinner to produce a wet film on the reverse side of the fabric without causing runs or dripping. Brush additional coats of non-tautening Nitrate Dope as required by specification. (See AC43.13-1A, Aircraft Inspection & Repair, Chapter 5). Available in quart, gallon, and 5 gallon sized.

No, it is no recommended for sticking.

Q: Is there any difference in the formulation between this and non-tautening clear nitrate other than the green tinting...thanks?

They are the same except for the tint.
