Starter bolted right in, no adjustments necessary, worked the first time. Showed up at my door very quickly after I ordered it. The core return information was included and made the core return very easy.

I placed a review statement earlier today (28 Dec 21). I wanted to update my review. Crow is better eaten hot. I found the Gasket between the FAA Form 8130-3 folds in the zip-lock bag attached to the starter. I missed when I opened the box at the Aircraft Spruce desk yesterday. So, REALLY THERE IS A GASKET. You just have to look for it. I apologies for my false statement earlier. I would however like to know what caused the Sky-Tec Starter to fail.

3 stars only because I haven’t tried it yet. Installed on an experimental O-200 still on the engine stand. I’m assuming it will be great.

Per the manufacturer: "The C12ST2 is for the later model key start aircraft. The C12ST2/S is for the pull type starter installations. If replacing a pull type, the initial kit to use is the KCST2 per the STC." Both the product price and the core charge are displayed separately on the web page.
