Super product. Extremely well made. I think a guy ought to have a choice between 1/8” and 1/4” lines, but maybe theres a reason for the small lines. Put another angle support on the bottom. I put one on my unit.

Q: What size are the line fittings on the Hegar 7 In Dual Lever master cylinder?

Per the vendor, they are 3/16", will fit standard hose.

Q: What are the width, height and length dimensions at their extremities of this unit?

The levers are 8" tall and 4" at their widest point. The base is 6.5" long and 3" at its widest point.

Q: Can mil-spec 5606 aviation red brake fluid be used in these cylinders?

MIL-spec 5606 can be used, Dextron fluid is recommended.

Q: Is this part 06-01280 suitable for mineral oil?

The master cylinder is suitable for mineral oil. The brake cylinder is not compatible with mineral oil.
