These 2-1/4" tachometers were designed to offer aviation styling and performance for all types of aircraft. These tachs have high resolution and easy to read displays. The analog model has a 270° sweep which provides great resolution in both the 3500 and 7000 ranges. The digital model has a bright LED display. Separate power source required. Installation is simple. If using mag pickup 1A9-1 or 1A9-2, remove vent screw-cap from magneto and screw in one of this mag sensors. Connect power to the tach and plug in DB-9 connector into the tach. If using 1A3-4 sender that goes into mechanical port, just install it there, connect 4 pin connector to the sender and DB-9 connector to the tach and connect power leads to the aircraft fuse box.
