Fuel Probe System with Fuel Computer and 1/8 NPT Fuel Pressure Sensor |
Perfect product for my odd sized marine diesel tank. The 4 level calibration box is quite accurate. Used it with a VDO 0-5 volt (CANBUS) 270 degree sweep fuel gauge w/warning light built-in.
Seems to be working as expected so far. Have fuel probe installed in piping underneath the tank. Recommend this product if you dont want to make hole in your fuel tank.

Item came well packaged with nice complete wiring, etc. I’m using with a $45 2” round 0-5v gauge because Belize’s $250 instrument didn’t seem reasonable. It works perfectly but took some effort to figure out as the wire colors in the instructions did not match. Nor did it give hookup for using gauge other than theirs.
Mixed review. I attempted to use them on a Lancair 360 wing tanks. Although it might give you an indication while static on the ground, the vent pressure at speed changes the head pressure too much so they are inaccurate in flight. The manual suggests they are not for fast airplanes. I only used the 5v transducer itself and fed the signal to my G3X.

Yes, the probe can be installed on the bottom of the tank.
It most likely can, but we recommend using like kind probes.
1/8 NPT.
Yes, that is common. But consider the depth of the tank, which we recommend as 12 or more. Also, tanks which are pressurized will not work.
