The max material capacity is 10 gauge thick mild steel.

Q: Does the 3/4 inch hole punch produce a true 3/4 inch hole or to what thousandths of an inch +/- to that dimension will it punch?

Per the manufacturer: Yes it should produce a hole of .750".
