Retarder is used to prevent dope blushing on humid days, but it is also great to slow drying down on hot days. I used 25% with the color dope and found my wet edge lasted long enough to completely paint a fuselage and my wet edge remained as I progressed from one side to the other with no overspray showing anywhere!
