A No. 8 washer with the same O.D. as a No. 10 (0.75). Great for those oversize holes in fairings. Unlike the No. 10 washer with a No. 8 screw, these washers will tighten down on the fairing (not bottom out on the cone) thus providing the proper "clamp up" between the fastener and the fairing. The G-8 washers are Made in the USA from 304 (1/2 hard) Stainless Steel and are machine tumbled for a shiny finish. |
Great service
G-8 Washer
This is better than the regular Tinnerman washer. The outer edge makes contact with the surface before the inner cup and thus it spreads the pressure more evenly. As a usage tip, I added extra epoxy below the cup that created a mold of the screw hole below the cup and this will create a even more tighter fit and will increase the longevity of the hole.
G-8 Washer
Well made and strong. Used them to fasten plastics on motorcycle
I tested this on my wing tip. I absolutely love them. They clamp down on the wing tip very nicely and you should stop tightening them before the screw bottoms out. The washer does the work not the screwhead. You will need to buy the screws that go with the washers.
Wasnt what I wanted. I guess I miss-read the description. However, it came in the mail very promptly.
