Cad Plated Slotted | Camloc Stud | 2700-6 |
2700 STUD LENGTH SELECTION Total material thickness “G” consists of the thickness of all materials to be fastened. This must include the thickness of the material “P” to which the stud assembly is attached, the material “F” to which the receptacle is attached plus gaskets (if used) and allowance for paint or other protective finishes. If the total thickness is near the upper limit of the stud grip range, the next longer stud should be used. This will still maintain positive locking of the fastener under vibration. P (panel thickness)..................... .062 F (frame thickness................... + .062 GRIP (total thickness).............. = .124

These were the most Camloc-inist Camlocs I have ever seen! Studs were great, perfect length and so metal! They even had the flat tip slot precut in them! Just WOW!
Camloc Fasteners 2700-6 Studs
Very difficult to determine correct size from Spruce catalog. I ordered several examples and went by trial and error. The size on the old part is frequently unreadable.
I ordered the wrong size. The ones I got were too small so I sent them back with one of mine here so you could personally match it. I mailed it last Monday Alan
Ordered wrong ones, returned them and ordered correct ones. No problems ,happy customer.
Camloc worked like a charm for replacing the one I misplaced.
Be aware the measurement from the top of the faster head to the horizontal part that does the fastening is somewhat ambiguous. The diagram could be more clear as to this distance on each part. I ended up ordering six different pieces before I got the correct Camloc since I was guessing. The Camloc functions perfectly now that I have the correct size.
Great fasteners. Do the job with easy release.
Great service !
Fit my C182p cowl perfectly.
Worked perfect. These were used on a Mooney 231 cowling. The -4 are used on all attachments except rear mist which are -7.

The 2700 are slotted head, and the 27S3 are phillips head. Everything else is the same.
These studs are priced and sold each.
You would need to measure the total material thickness that this would be installed through and choose the camloc that would match that spec per the table on our website. These are not measured by length. If you are replacing one, there may be a number stamped on the head, that would be the length.
